MRS. GWENDOLYN COLLINS, IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT OF THE TEXAS COLLEGE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, HANDS A TEXAS COLLEGE STUDENT A GIFT CARD FOR THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE “ALUMNI LEADERSHIP SYMPOSIUM/CHAT-N-CHEW” DISCUSSION

Wednesday evening activities began with the Social Work Student Association’s “Poetry Night,” which featured poetry readings and recitals from students, faculty, and staff. The evening activities continued with “Hump Night: Trail Ride Edition,” where students marked the middle or “hump” of the week by socializing and listening to music from a live DJ in their favorite western attire. On Thursday, Texas College welcomed alumni back to campus for the annual “Alumni Leadership Symposium/Chat-n-Chew.” This activity afforded an invaluable informal discussion between alumni and students about their respective times at Texas College as they enjoyed light refreshments and stimulating conversation. Thursday night culminated with the 2024 Miss Texas College Coronation, in which Miss Asia Brown was officially crowned as the 2024-2025 Miss Texas College. On Friday, the campus was bustling as Texas College Alumni returned home for the annual Homecoming Program. That evening, alongside a host of activities from the Texas College Alumni Association (TCAA), the College hosted the Alumni Basketball Game, where Texas College Basketball Alumni from a variety of eras faced off against each other on the court. The spirited and competitive game also included multiple opportunities for engaging crowd participation and games. PAGE 22| THE INSIDER
