THE INSIDER - FALL 2024

On Wednesday, October 9, the College hosted the “Dean’s Tailgate and Cookout,” in which Dean Jamaal Evans fired up the grill to provide lunch to the campus community. In addition to the plethora of grilled food, there were also a multitude of outdoor games to provide a familial and fun atmosphere.

TEXAS COLLEGE STUDENTS PLAY LASER TAG AT THE LASER TAG BASH

On Tuesday evening, the Gilmore-Hartley Hall Field was transformed into a laser tag arena, complete with barriers and other items to create a comprehensive laser tag combat zone. In addition to laser tag, the event also had a live DJ, a 360 photo booth, a mirror photo booth, and refreshments.

The “Dean’s Tailgate and Cookout” excitedly culminated with the annual Homecoming Pep Rally, which featured performances from the Texas College Band, the Texas College Cheerleaders, and special remarks from Coach Jarrail Jackson, Head Football Coach, as well as a variety of other engaging activities for students, faculty, and staff.
