FALL 2022 BEGINS

Following two successful summer sessions, students began arriving for the Fall 2022 semester on Monday, August 8, for the Athletic and Auxiliary Camp. As students continued to move in throughout the month of August, the campus was quickly bustling again in preparation for the upcoming term. Texas College was pleased to officially begin the Fall 2022 academic term on Monday, August 29. Fall 2022 is currently underway with an exciting semester of face - to - face instruction, as well as virtual offerings, with a full return of athletic programs, college activities, Homecoming activities, career fairs, and more. Although the campus has fully returned in person, the College continues to monitor the COVID - 19 pandemic currently employs a multitude of COVID - 19 mitigation measures, inclusive of facemasks, social distancing, weekly testing, and more. To formally commemorate the beginning of the 2022 - 2023 academic year, Texas College hosted the annual Opening School Convocation virtually on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. The ceremony traditionally serves as a platform to formally welcome the new entering class of students, as well as those students who have returned to continue their educational trek toward degree attainment. The event was streamed via YouTube Dr. Jan Duncan, Texas College Vice President for Academic Affairs, served as the Convocation's speaker. Dr. Duncan’s comments, as well as others, surrounded the 2022 - 2023 academic theme, “Embracing Moments of Opportunity.”
