THE QUEEN IS CROWNED Meet Miss Kai’Lyn Primus, the 2022 - 2023 Miss Texas College. On Sunday, November 6, 2022, Miss Primus officially ascended her throne as she was crowned Miss Texas College at her coronation in the historic Martin Hall auditorium. Miss Primus hails from the southwest side of Fort Worth, Texas. She is the daughter of Stephanie Bradley and is the oldest of four siblings. She is a graduate of O. D. Wyatt High School in Fort Worth, Texas, where she served as team captain of the women’s basketball team for four years, two of those earning recognition as the team’s most valuable player. Miss Primus, is currently a senior, majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies (Teacher Education), specializing in Physical Education, with a 3.0 grade point average. Upon her graduation from Texas College, she aspires to become a physical education teacher. Aside from her academic pursuits, she is also a member of the Texas College Woman’s Basketball Team, as well as a member of the Krimson Kourts Inc. National Service Organization. Her goals in life include helping others and to meet daily challenges with pride and independence as an African American professional woman. Miss Primus believes that nothing in life is given to you. With prayer, hard work, and dedication she believes you can do whatever you put your mind to. She is known for service within her community, sharing her friendship.
