ACADEMIC DEGREE PROGRAMS
Texas College awards baccalaureate degrees in the arts and sciences to students in one of its four major divisions: General Studies and Humanities, Business and Social Sciences, Natural and Computational Sciences, and Education. The College also awards associate degrees in Early Childhood Education and General Studies. Attention is given to a common base of general knowledge in the liberal arts, upon which a program of generalization can be built. To this end, a common core of academic foundation courses must be completed satisfactorilyby all students regardless of degree plans. The College has computer laboratories throughout the campus and in residence facilities. The D.R. Glass Library contains the Teacher Education Distance Leaming Technology Center, over 73,500 print volumes, 151 online databases, as well as, digital audio and video support for the academic program. Tutorial services and electronic learning options are provided to assist students in meeting the academic requirements.

ACADEMIC Partnerships
colleges provide an opportunity for students to complete their Bachelor's degree wi hin two years after they receive their Associate's degree. UT HEALTH & TEXAS COLLEGE PRE-HEALTH ACADEMY The Pre-Health Academy provides students seeking advanced degrees in health-related careers (e.g., medicine, public health, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, sports medicine, etc.) with a pathway to prepare for further study. Students are afforded opportunities to gain exposure to the breadth and depth of various health-related fields through research, experiential learning, job shadowing, volunteerism, and clinical experiences. Students wi l have structured opportunities to: 1) Li�theory and practice through clinical experience and research. 2J---="Explore- the depth and breadth of various health-related disciplines. 3 Receive guidance and support through i:nentorship.
4+1 & 2+2 Texas College and the University of Texas at Tyler have partnered to offer students more degree options and a fast track to a master's degree. The partnership includes two key components: 2+2 Agreements, which will provide pathways for Texas College undergraduate students to transfer into undergraduate programs at UTT, and a 4+1 Agreement, which will provide opportunities for Texas College undergraduate students to begin studies in selected master's programs at UT Tyler as they complete their bachelor degrees at Texas College. Junior College Agreements Texas College maintains multiple agreements with community colleges that allows students that complete an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science'd€gn::€- to seamlessly transition into their major. Many students that transfer into a college or a university can lose credit for courses that are specific to their major. Some colleges and universities will reject certain courses that are not a part of the core course offerings. Through these agreements, exas College has worked with community colleges and predetermined the courses we need their students to take for a particular major. Our agreements with community

SUMMER TRANSITION ENRICHMENT PROGRAM (STEP)
STEP is a six week program for recent high school graduates to assist with the transition to college. Beginning in mid-June, the program allows recent high school graduates to experience college life prior to entering the fall semester. Benefits include:
