The Texas College Athletic Hall of Fame was founded in the spring of 2023, with the inaugural induction of honorees taking place on Thursday, April 13, 2023, in the Gus F. Taylor Gymnasium at the 2023 Athletic Banquet. The purpose of the Texas College Athletic Hall of Fame is to honor and recognize former Texas College student - athletes for their achievements and service during their tenure at the College. Induction into the Texas College Athletic Hall of Fame is the highest athletic honor bestowed to a former player or coach. Extraordinary athletic achievements, past academic standing, and a continued commitment to embody the core values of the institution are the pillars of consideration for induction. A player or coach becomes eligible for consideration upon their eighth year removed from athletic participation at Texas College. Upon being nominated and approved by the Texas College Athletic Hall of Fame Committee, the inductee is recognized at the annual Texas College Athletic Banquet. In addition to the honor, recognition as a Texas College Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee carries with it a gold commemorative Texas College blazer, a customized plaque, and a lifetime membership to attend any Texas College game at no charge. Moreover, a photograph of the individual is framed and displayed on the Texas College “Athletic Wall of Fame.” The 2023 Inaugural Texas College Athletic Hall of Fame inductees are:
