THE INSIDER - FALL 2024

Rev. Dr. W. Raymond Bryant, Presiding Elder of the San Antonio District of the Southwest Texas Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church in the Tenth Episcopal District, served as the Fall 2024 Opening School Convocation Speaker. Rev. Dr. Bryant delivered a powerful convocation address, challenging students, faculty, staff, and alumni to work together to fulfill their goals and achieve success while maintaining a standard of excellence in all that they do throughout the new year. His message of encouragement was fitting, as the 2024-2025 theme "Sustaining Faith: Working Together as We Move to the Next Level,” which derives from Amos 3:3, was introduced during convocation and echoed throughout the platform’s remarks. Filled with prayer, words of encouragement, blessings for the Texas College campus, and musical selections from the Texas College Choir, as well as special remarks from other Texas College administrators, the Fall 2024 Opening School Convocation was an event that undoubtedly energized the Texas College Family for the new academic year.
